Shock Sensors
AVS SK-02 AVS Shock Sensor
Single and dual zone available. The single zone triggers the alarm if an impact is detected to the vehicle. The dual zone triggers a warning if a light impact is detected, and full alarm if a heavy impact is detected.

Mongoose MES60 Mongoose Shock Sensor

Impact sensors, also known as shock or vibration sensors, are designed to detect impacts to the vehicle. There are 2 levels of detection (depending on alarm functions). The first stage just chirps the siren if the sensor detects light impacts to warn away any other possible attack. Heavier impacts cause the alarm to sound fully. All models are adjustable for sensitivity.Suitable for any alarm with a negative trigger.
  • MES20 suits Mongoose models MX200, M20, MX40 (single stage) & MAP1100S
  • MES24 suits M24 (24volt alarm system)
  • MES60 suits all M60 models
  • MES80 suits all M80 and MAP80 models
  • MIS1 Detects pressure applied to the vehicle bodywork and acts in a similar way to an impact sensor but reacts to air pressure as opposed to vibrations. Single stage only
Microwave Sensors
AVS MA-01 AVS Microwave Sensor

Single and dual zone available. The single zone triggers the alarm if body mass movement is detected inside the car eg. someone entering the car through an open window. The dual zone will also trigger a warning if movement is detected close to the car. This sensor is used on convertibles or where car windows are left open while the alarm is armed.

Mongoose MMW60D Mongoose Microwave Sensor

The dual zone microwave sensors (radar) protect both the inside and outside of your vehicle when fitted to a suitable alarm system. An intrusion into the exterior zone will chirp the siren, whilst an intrusion into the interior zone will fully sound the siren.
They are adjustable for zone field size. Certain alarms only permit single zone protection and this product should be used to protect the interior zone.

Ultrasonic Sensors

Triggers the alarm if a change in air pressure or movement is detected in the cabin of the car. This is one of the best sensors for protecting the cabin of the vehicle so is a good upgrade if you carry goods or have a large vehicle.

The MGB6000 glass break sensor is designed to detect the sound of glass breaking due to its built-in microphone. Mongoose impact sensors, supplied as standard in each alarm system, operate by detecting an applied impact to the vehicle or glass area. Depending on the level of impact, the alarm's siren will either chirp a warning or fully sound.

It is possible to break glass without applying impact, so the MGB6000 listens for the sound of the glass being broken. The MGB6000 can be added to any Mongoose alarm system thereby enhancing your security.
Tilt Sensors

Normal sensors like shock sensors will NOT protect the wheels so a tilt sensor is an essential upgrade if you have mags.The AVS digital tilt sensor will also trigger the alarm if your car is lifted by a tow truck.The AVS digital tilt sensor sets itself to the angle you are parked on when you arm the alarm. If the car is tilted in ANY direction from one degree it triggers the alarm. The sensor is fully digital and contains extensive anti-falsing circuitory.

If someone lifts the bike off the side stand, the alarm triggers.

The MHA50D is a PIR (passive infrared) movement sensor which can connect to any Mongoose vehicle security alarm system.This sensor detects movement of heat usually generated by moving human bodies. It is normally used inside motorhomes, truck bodies, utility canopies or other large volume motor bodies.
Paging Systems
Mongoose MP1000 Mongoose MP1000 FM Paging System

Never fear that the vehicle alarm sounds but no one responds to it. If the alarm is activated, this paging system alerts the owner by transmitting direct from the vehicle to your personal receiving unit. Transmits within a range of typically 500 metres. Transmission range can be either a larger or smaller range depending on location, other transmissions, terrain and surrounding buildings.

AVS Reversing Sensor

The AVS reversing sensor kit includes 4 x advanced ultrasonic sensors which are mounted in the rear bumper of your car. The sensors will begin to detect obstacles from within 2.5 metres of the rear of vehicle and transmit the information to the visual display which is mounted in the vehicle. The visual display shows both the distance and direction of the obstacle behind you while from 1.5 metres an audible warning tone also begins. This tone escalates as you get closer to the obstacle.Your vehicle will need to be quoted on an individual basis so talk to your AVS dealer today.
